Charles Millward
Executive Director
Charles performed the market analysis which led to Arch’s decision to expand into Australia and is actively involved in marketing a significant Arch presence.
His career started in investment banking in South Africa, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, cross border structuring, and private equity. After moving to Australia in the early 2000s, he ran his own consulting business assisting British and Australian companies - including Rio Tinto – to manage investment into Africa.
More recently, Charles was involved in the development of novel solar concentrator technology. He has degrees in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Cape Town and a Masters Degree in Applied Economics from the Australian National University.
Glen Parker
Executive Director
Glen joined his family’s high-end cash register point of sale (POS) business in 1981. By 1985 he had helped to design one of Australia’s first PC-based cash registers.
With his uncle as software developer then his son Russell Glen targeted the retail POS market focusing on liquor stores. The company achieved well over 600 installations by the time it was sold in 2016.
Glen brings his profound Australia-specific POS knowledge and insight. He has a degree in Surveying from the University of New South Wales, Sydney.
Russell Parker
Technical Head
Russell has more than 20 years of experience in point of sale (POS) hardware and related software solutions in the Australian liquor, hospitality and retail industries.
Before joining Arch, he worked in the family POS business, owned by his father, where he honed his technical skills and developed his passion for POS systems innovation in the retail space.
Russell was part of the management team when the company was sold in 2016. He brings to Arch immense technical expertise in POS hardware products, software design, development, and support.
