Arch Butcheries Growing

Three butcheries recently went live in one week on Arch. They are Striker Meats (Khayelitsha), part of the Goal group (10 Arch stores), Blockman Meats (Philippi), and Avon Butchery (Fort Beaufort). We welcome the owners, Ben vd Merwe & Marius vd Westhuizen (Striker), Phillip Arnold (Blockman) and Dylan Fetting (Avon) to the Arch family.
The Arch suite of products is the solution of choice in 83 butcheries. These vary from smaller independents to larger sites/groups – the latter include Excellent Meat, Seamann’s, RCL (factory shops), Meat2Oceans, Uitkyk Vleismark, A1 Food Store and Impala Vleis. In addition to this grouping, numerous butcheries as service departments in supermarkets, are also operational on Arch: these include OK Foods Group, President Hyper, Oxford Fresh Market, Food Lover’s Market (African operation), Sefalana Shopper and Saverite, to name a few.

Development work was also done to address the age-old problem of shrinkage in a butchery:
