DIY Market Development
The Arch suite of products has over many years proved to be a versatile retail management solution in numerous retail sectors. The solution was originally developed for the Supermarket, Wholesale and Liquor trade, but due to common management processes in retail, has grown into other store types, of which DIY is one.
Arch is already running in 19 DIY stores throughout Southern Africa – to name four of the more prominent sites: Junk DIY (Pongola), Mica Hardware (Pongola), BuildIt (Rundu) and Mica Lifestyle Centre (Randburg).
A market research project was undertaken, incorporating both the existing Arch stores, as well as other prominent DIY stores. The purpose of the research was to determine any functionality shortcomings, which have been addressed in the interim through development work.
