New OK Foods Stores Acquired In Namibia

The two stores are OK Foods Otavi and OK Foods Thumeb (Moruti) in Namibia.  In a project of this nature, the database conversion process poses challenges of its own to ensure that the product master file is accurate and all-inclusive.  A similar conversion project was done earlier this year in Swaziland, which enhanced the skills/knowledge base.  The Spinnaker team worked closely with a project team from OK Foods Head Office to ensure a successful implementation product was delivered. The stores went live recently on Arch Retail and further OK Foods branding and revamp are in process.

The 2 stores have a combined POS count of 13 and are equipped with Arch All-in-One TowerPOS check-out machines, the option of choice in OK Foods.  The stores offer a superior product range in all service departments, such as Fruit & Veg, Deli, Bakery, Butchery and Groceries.  We salute the Arch Namibian Branch, our Head Office Technical Division, OK Foods Namibia and personnel from OK Foods Head Office, on pulling off this challenge successfully.  A special word of welcome to Bennie Davids, Kevin Behne and Theo Kitching in the Arch family – we wish you all the best with the stores!
