Deep learning – Deep learning is a subset of machine learning in Artificial Intelligence (AI) that has networks capable of learning unsupervised from data that is unstructured or unlabeled.  Intercept X uses a deep learning neural network that works much like the human brain.  Also known as Deep Neural Learning or Deep Neural Network.

Malware.  Malware, or “malicious software,” is a term that refers to any malicious program or code that is harmful to systems.

False positives – a test result which wrongly indicates that a particular condition or attribute is present.

Ransomware, is a type of malicious software that threatens to publish the victim’s data or perpetually block access to it, unless a ransom is paid.
