Zimbabwean connection

Arch Retail, integrated retail management solution of Spinnaker Software, was recently implemented in Zimbabwean Retail Group, Connect Africa, comprising of 11 stores and a warehouse in the Bulawayo region. The project was run against tight deadlines, since the previous software licenses expired towards the end of last year, dictating two Arch implementation teams doing parallel installations and implementations.

Arch is now operational in five supermarkets, three wholesalers, two liquor stores and a butchery. In addition to the in-store Arch solution, Arch Enterprise allows for central management control of the entire operation. On the financial side, operational information is integrated into Pastel Evolution. With completion of this project, Arch is running in a total of 21 Zimbabwean stores, with a number of stores in the pipeline.
