Bosco Food Town Joins the Arch Fold
Bosco Food Town, a landmark store in Newcastle recently went live on Arch as the integrated retail management solution of choice. Bosco is a retail store with Butchery and Fruit & Veg service departments.
Arch is operational at checkout on 15 TowerPOS All-in-one units and 6 Back-office machines. In addition to Arch Retail (in-store solution), EFT and virtual airtime are offered as integrated Value Adds at till-point for the convenience of the shopper.
Cloud-backup is also implemented to safeguard the operational data of the store, protecting it against malicious cyber attacks or looting/theft, as experienced recently. Two Arch Mobile units are integrated into Arch Retail, providing on-the-floor stock management functions to store personnel – on the shelves, at Receiving, in the warehouse/storage area and at store exit (security control).
