Shopper stores growing

The Sefalana Group, leading retailers in Botswana, is an Arch User since 2007. The group consists of 35 wholesale stores (449 Arch points) and 35 retail stores (456 Arch points). The retail stores trade under the Shopper brand. In addition to the Botswana operation, Sefalana owns the Metro Group in Namibia, where Arch is also the solution of choice in 22 stores (420 Arch points).

Sefalana has in the past 5 years seen growth in the store numbers - wholesale stores (+7 – 112 Arch points added), but more pronounced growth in the Shopper arm of the business (+11 – 165 Arch points added). The most recent addition is Shopper Metsimotlhabe, with a its liquor store. See accompanying photos.

The full suite of Arch products are applied in the Sefalana Group, inclusive of Arch Retail (in-store solution), Arch Enterprise (central merchandise management system), Arch Mobile (on-the-floor management capability), Arch Financial Integration (into Sage 300) and Arch Value Adds for the convenience of customers at POS (pre-paid airtime, EFT & Loyalty).
